Just wait till y'all see how much money we lose when Puig is sold or bought back, not to mention the CL money we just lost not having him now.

Various medias -

Elche are looking to break Collado's loan in January as they have serious financial issues and need to offload players in order to make signings. After which, Barca would look to sell him permanently in January and due to the loan deal agreed, Elche would collect 20% of any fee.

Really played us with the loan deal there. Got him, hardly played him, send him back in January and somehow collect 20% of the future fee for no real reason lol. Bad terms negotiated by Alemany.

You think we will collect any fee for him?

I don't think they will retain 20% sell on fee if they break the loan clause. That's for sure.

We would make the termination of that 20% a condition of agreeing to the cancellation. That is only logical.

The 20% fee is there as incentive to use him and showcase the player, who basically has close to zero market value.

He is 23 years old, who has played 560 minutes out of 1350 available minutes (41%) in the team that is dead last in Liga.

And they see him as a financial burden who should leave in order to make signing to add quality for them.

We should have never renewed him, and allowed him to leave for free, better than having to pay him

Loaned to Al Okhdood. In Saudi Arabia lol
Thought this was a troll and I checked and it actually happened WTF.

Betis loaning young Spanish players to newly promoted Saudi teams lol. Are we at the point where it is actually becoming an attractive footballing proposition for some players?

Of course it is attractive and next summer going to be a lot more players in prime heading there would expect.
Well, I meant more as in not just for money anymore (since he's on loan for a year), that the league is actually starting to be seen as competitive and high-level.

Which is crazy since a few years ago it was hopeless and has gone from that to a decent quality league in 2 years simply through money.

They cannot register him right now and are prioritizing other players. Loaned out until they can sort out their issues. Probably got some deal with that particular Saudi club.
