Good read, nice bloog, keep up the good work mate.
Btw, it's funny how fans and reporters from England hype up their academies. Like with Southampton, they produced 4-5 players and everyone goes OMG WHAT ACHIEVEMENT GREAT ACADEMY! I think if they had a club like Ajax or Barcelona with their academies, it would become a new religion.

1)Southampton are a lower league club which makes it more impressive.
2) English clubs have restrictions within players they can sign in their academy which makes it more difficult.
3) Barcelona have only produced players in the last 10/15 years or so since Cruyff so can't be mentioned in the same breath as Ajax who've been doing it since the late 60's.

For anyone who wants an introduction to Alex Chamberlain, I've just wrote this.

As I point out, will be intriguing what happens to him this summer.

Nice read, can see him going to United or Spurs. I think the Arsenal ship has sailed with the emergence of Myachi and rumours of Hazard being number 1 target.

I think he will stay with the saints until January at least, so clubs will judge how he does in the championship. He then will probably leave in January.

1) It's impressive that they had produced 5 players in 15 years?
2) Are you really going to continue with that shit? Clubs like Watford, West Ham and Liverpool recently show what you can do if you want to work hard on talent developing. Either you are good at it, or you aren't. Regulations are same for everyone in English football yet there are some clubs better in that area.
3) 10-15 years? Tell that to Guardiola and Co.

1) When they're a poor club in the lower leagues yes.
2)Watford have brought through Ashley Young, no one else any good. Liverpool have a few decent fullbacks and West Ham had a golden age ages ago. Its more difficult in England but some of it is down to poor coaching and the lifestyle of young English players.
3) Oh come on, Barcelona's 'golden age' has been the past 10-15 years before you've had a few but about the same amount as Arsenal have had coming through.

Thanks Koma and Song.

Hazard will stay at Lille for one more season. Gervinho is off this summer.

Love how OC is already infinitely better than Walcott. Walcott is done, he's going to move to some mid-table team at best.

Theo got 3 assists today. Let's see Chamberlain score and assist against Barca, or dribble past the entire Liverpool defence before we proclaim him better.

AOC already has more composed head than Walcott will ever have... He looks to switch the attack, for a young winger that's a great trait. He'll surely be better than Walcott if he already ain't

But Theo is a CF that Wenger has been playing out of position for years. The whole reason he even got the hype that made Arsenal sign him was him playing as a CF for Southampton. Wenger kept Thierry Henry on the wings until he was 22 and he was nowhere near the player he became until he finally moved to the CF position.

Wenger wants to make Theo a striker that can do it all, but all the mistakes he has been making as a teenager were seen under a microscope. Imagine being 19 and having scored and assisted against the biggest clubs in the world, score a hat trick for England, then dislocate your shoulder twice and have a bad run of form. Then suddenly you have "no football brain" or w/e else the pundits say.

Theo is only 22 and is a brilliant footballer. There's so much more from him to come, and when he finally gets his preferred position he'll set the EPL on fire.
