Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Henry was a fantastic teenage prospect at Monaco. That's why Juve paid a huge sum to buy him. The talent was always there, he had more than just raw pace. It needed a good manager to maximise his abilities, that's all. Walcott has been limited from the start. He just isn't really a top footballer. He has some reasonable attributes but nothing that makes him really stand out. As said previously I think Oxlade-Chamberlain is a better footballer and will prove that over the coming seasons.

Walcott is effective, but he's not a good footballer. He isn't in control. He goes full throttle and hopes for the best, which ranges from the sublime to the cringe-worthy.

If he's effective, then he's a good footballer. His style is to get the most out of his speed, and that has broken some of the best defenses in the world.

He's an athlete, which is effective on a football pitch, but that doesn't equate to footballing talent. He's weak in possession, and average passer, and his finishing and crossing is erratic at best. If it weren't for his pace, he wouldn't be playing in the Premier League, let alone the Champions League.

His finishing is clinical when he's on form. He never smashes the ball in, but aims for the bottom corners of the net. Being an athlete has nothing to do with it because he isn't just sprinting. He's sprinting with the ball.

If football was like you said it is, then Usain Bolt would have been the best player of all time. It takes more than just pace; there's also awareness and movement, and spotting as well as making runs.

I never said all he had was pace, it's just a huge part of his game, to the point that he wouldn't behalf the player he is without it. His finishing ranges from classy to woeful, he has no consistency, and often goes missing. His performances average out to a decent return over a season, but he's not someone you can count on.

You can't forget that he is still only 22, players tend to improve at this age. Don't think he will much though, but can't ignore that fact

I praise Gunners fans for actually being able to come up with arguments to defend somebody like Walcott.

Nice video:

Crazy to think how far he's come in just a few matches. A bit like Wilshere's rise.
