Its difficult to find a lot of people in Southern europe who speak English, especially in Spain a huge majority doesnt speak it.
Kind of a waste sinc eyou could speak to so many people over the world if only you spoke those 2 languages.

They probably don't need it on a daily basis, but now that you mention it, these people take part in national and international competitions (and numerous other international events) with foreigners on a weekly basis. You'd expect at least some of them to know a few words of English. Over a billion people worldwide speak English, it's pretty strange and embarrassing that famous, wealthy people like them, who engage in international contact as a part of their job, don't speak it.
