It's not about injuries only. Now that barca don't control the ball like they used to ( especially against top teams like madrid or bayern) a player like busquets is good but not as good as a Gary medel or a Yaya Toure or even song . Barca now needs players with muscle, speed and strength ( somehow you have to make up for the fact that player like Xavi or iniesta will not fight to get the ball back).

I know right? If Mourinho was here, I'm positive players like bartra and Neymar would gain body mass and more muscle. When Verane first arrived in Spain , he was really skinny. A couple months later, he gained a lot of body mass and by the end of this process he gained first team spot. Players like bartra should be working their bodies if they want to succeed.

Finally found the Copa match.

We're absolutely safe to use Song as a CM, when our main midfielders need rest. He'd not only deliver on that position (he finished 2011/12 season with Arsenal with 14 assists, if you remember), but it would also keep him happier with more (and I think - deserved) playing time. I think Song is kinda underused.

I see him more as a CM than a DM, to be honest. The fact that he's big doesn't make him any less of a CM.

He could easily get the minutes Keita was getting, but he's not. He's really not managed well by Tito, I don't understand why. Sadly I don't think it's just him.
