Well, he has not really done so well or played that much, has he? Didn't leave a good impression in the World Cup either. Reportedly, Milan and Liverpool have been intersted in the possibility of signing him on loan and permanently respectively, but it looks like they scrapped the idea or maybe Song want to return to London specifically.

It's just a season loan anyway. If he does well, then teams will be in for him and we would be able to sell him for an okayish fee as well.

I think a lot of teams with money are trying to copy the Barca style and the last thing they want is a 'Barca reject'.

Teams know you need allow him to play a more or less free box to box role and have other players to compliment him (polite way of saying it).

That leaves mid tier teams that Song most likely does not fancy going to and seems to have an urge to get back to the chaotic style of the EPL that suits him more.

Mid table EPL team based in London probably suits him for now.

Kinda sad he is going on the other hand...He looks like a cool dude in the end. BTW anyone noticed Neymar always being "broish"? Our squad looks very much like a fraternity already, even Vermaleen is getting loose in the elevator (with his hands in pockets, but still...)

'So we aren't skilled enough to sell him even for a few million'...Well, according to the Telegraph, we aren't even skilled enough to get a proper loan deal. Apart from not getting any loan fees (expected), West Ham won't even be paying all of his wages..Barca will continue paying a percentage of wages..what percent is almost irrelevant at this point..

It's the continuous non-stop occurrences of things like this that make me want to find the people who are in charge of these things, and beg them to quit and leave us alone..
