I don't think he leaves Newcastle this summer, especially not if they make CL. Contract is until 2028, not 2027 btw. Newcastle got full control and would probably demand 120m+.

If we’ve learned anything in last 6-8 weeks, nevermind even dating back further, trust nothing with respect to rumors. Isak is an excellent profile but we knew this even before he left for the Premiership, problem is his fee would be exorbitant so a pointless consideration

I’d be more interested to see what Jhon Durán could be had for

Completely disagree, as alluded to earlier. Gyok didn't have much of a problem with the champions of the PL.

He will make the move this summer, and is most closely linked with Arsenal. If that move happens, I am convinced he will outscore Isak next season.

Let's see what happens.
Problem is no team had an issue with City during that period. They won just 1 game in 11 and were useless for two months.

Granted he did well, scored a hat trick (two of which were penalties). However, I think there should always be some caution when it comes to paying big money based on Portuguese Liga goals.

He was half as prolific for Coventry. Only really had that one breakout season for them when he scored 20 goals in 50 odd games and then immediately moved to Lisbon where his goals to game ratio exploded.

Not saying he’s a bad player at all but it would not be a big surprise to me if someone paid big money and were left disappointed.

He's going to break the bank for someone, might as well be him.

Newcastle has no need to sell unless he forces a move, and even then he would want to double their money, so we looking at 140m euros.

Yep. The time to get him was when he left Sociedad

Profile wise he's the perfect package, can score, play on the wings if required, insane tech and dribbling, passing, etc...

Shame we're broke :ROFLMAO:

Our only chance is if Newcastle miss out on CL and preferably the other competitions too. Even then he'd be very expensive. Don't think cheaper than 100m and would need to get rid of Lewy.

2026 I think is when we move for a top CF.

IMO he is unobtainable, since Newcastle is one of the richest clubs in Europe and don't need money. The only way he could leave is indeed if they fail to make the CL.

He has scored in 8 consecutive PL games, only Van Nistelrooy (10) and Vardy (11) are ahead of him.

Next Newcastle league games - Bournemouth H, Southampton A, Fulham H and City A.

Hope he gets a record but still a long way off tbf.

We could hardly register our own players mere days ago and ppl are already twerking about buying a 150m + euro player in summer.

Come back down, ya’ll. High must be good. 🤣

I think the days of transfers going way above 100m are over. Isak might move in 2026 and won't be surprised if it's for 85-90m max.

True, players have somewhat taken control by allowing contracts to run down too and assess their options. Unless you play for Chelsea and signed a 30 year deal that is.
