Just confirms what many of us have known for awhile now, it only seems easy to play in a team of this quality...What we've learned however is that in a squad of this quality, you cannot just show up, you have to raise your game or get left behind...I imagine it's pretty intimidating to play for a side like this...I just think not many of us could've predicted that he'd be mentally brittle like this

I'm sorry, but I'm not really fond of Alexis.. I think the only great thing about him is his pace. He is not a goalscorer or a good passer. I prefer pedro because (IMO) he is better at finishing, dribbling and passing.

True, it's sad cause he's a really nice guy and is liked by all in the dressing room.

He goes and shoots himself in the foot calling himself a great player without backing it up with consistent performances. His time here is running out unfortunately.

To be honest, I actually find him playing better the last couple of games. Don't know what it is, but I am not against him in the starting lineup at all. Don't see who should be playing there, since I don't really see Tello get to work on the RW position?

Tello - villa - messi with messi playing behind messi abd alves taking up the right wing position is an option.

In my estimation Alexis needs to learn to RELAX. Deeply deeply relax. He just seems very tense and frantic when he is playing and it throws him off balance, leading to him just shanking chances, falling over, etc.

He has actually gotten A LOT more relaxed and fluid lately... closer to his potential. But he still gets tense and nervous when about to score and gets weak/imbalanced. He mentally psyches himself out about it. Needs to just relax, and be real easy/effortless about it, like Messi.

Messi is easily the most relaxed player I've ever seen and I think that goes a long way to explaining why he's the best of all time. It's like time is still for Messi, time is slowed down and he just GOES. Relaxation and centering/balance is key.

Alexis should meditate or do a relaxation session before each match lol.

At this point Alexis is making the team for defensive purposes coupled with his runs, thats it. I expect Pedro to play over him in the second leg.

Totally agree. This is actually our best attacking composition (with alves in the right wing and messi a little bit behing Villa. Kind of :

--------- Valdes ------------
------ Pique -- Bartra -- Alba
-------- Busquets ----------
----Xavi----------Iniesta----
Alves -- Messi --- Tello -----
------------ Villa -----------

This should be our 11 for the match against PSG (or Pedro is Tello's place if he makes a good match against Mallorca, same for Alexis).
