Some people here play way too much FM, here's a secret, it doesn't work that way in the real world.

What the fuck is wrong with you people? Alexis was one of Barca's better players in the second half.

It's like you can't help yourselves. It's Alexis' fault that Pedro can't finish anymore?

I didn't see that. One of his misplaced passes almost gave betis the equalizer. And, for what he costed, he should be doing a lot better by now. This is not his first season. But I do hope he comes around and breaks through whatever is holding him back. He should also cut the diving.

Anybody with half a brain can see that he has been a huge disappointment. Unless he miraculously finds form and scores 15-20 goals from now until the end of the season; then he should be sold. I would much rather give more minutes to Tello/Cuenca/Deulofeu than hinder their development by continuing to hope Alexis finally shows up.

Disagree with impeh. Messi often has 3-4 players keeping an eye on him.
If anything, for most of the time, it's Messi who drags players away from his teammates and thus enabling them space, not the other way around.

Playing wide, stretching the pitch and working hard off the ball is a fair point though. Stands for both Alexis and Pedro.

Useless as always. Not at his worst, frankly, but nowhere near where he should be, either. Also a terrible diver.

Plus, there's this weird negative energy surrounding him. It's like every opposing team hates his guts. Did you see how he got tripped from behind? And we all remember the Terry incident in the CL semi-final... what was the story behind that, anyway? I'm pretty sure all of this comes from his blatant diving and theatrics on the pitch.

I'm sure there are plently of legitimate reasons to dislike Alexis, but being kicked? That seems odd, frankly.

The only positive thing anyone can say about him is that he is good at hugging the touchline therefore widening our game. Plus he works hard off the ball.

If that's what we wanted from him then we should have bought Ji Sung Park for 1/10th of the price.

Obviously he is bad at keeping the ball moving and making quick passes. He takes to much time to make some decisions. On the other hand he is very dangerous when facing an opponent head on,altough he gets that chance very rarely. We need more goalscorers, the luck won't always be on our side. Same goes for Pedrito

I'm not justifying anyone for doing it, or blaming it on Alexis in any way, I'm just stating what I think is the reason behind it. He just seems to be that weird annoying kid that all the big kids are constantly bullying. And his behavior ain't helping.

Those diving attempts are really lame. Please, for god's sake, stop doing it.

Anxiously waiting for the next match
without Alexis's run across the defense Messi does not score that first goal.. also that pass to pedro... I thought he did quite well, I mean it is his first match back from injury

Regardless of how much better he was in the 2nd half than the 1st and that nice pass to Pedro... are you guys forgetting the rest of the terrible game he had? He almost gifted them a goal in the 2nd half, for one. But also he's just painfully mediocre up front overall. That's the problem. I see absolutely zero creativity or confidence up front. Weak passes, weak first touch. Never takes on anyone. It can't be blamed on Tito's orders... this or that... none of that. It's on him.

On top of that his attitude isn't the greatest either. The constant flopping, complaining to the ref.

Really not trying to be a hater, but he needs to go. If he hasn't been able to prove himself by now, and can't get his self straight, it's clear that he was never really ready for Barca in the first place. Maybe in a couple of years he would have been Barca quality but I really think a team of our caliber deserves much more up front in his position.

How the f can you complain on his attitude when the enemy players are bullying on him like they did? As soon as he got the ball he had a player all over him kicking, pulling his shirt etc. What do you expect when ppl do like that to him all the time? Wouldnt you get pissed off when someone does like that to you throughout a game? Jesus...

Alexis atm is better than Pedro. He does what Pedro does (pressing, defending) but he atleast produces some goalscoring opportunities too. He gets fouled more than rest of the barcaplayers combined = producing yellow cards. Wtf is Pedro doin on the pitch when Villa and Tello are in the squad? Alexis should be over him (Pedro) in the pecking order too now that he is fit.
