Since Alexis came, he has been the better player. BUT!!! Pedro is from La Masia so he will always have the bigger status within the club. Hell doesnt even get benched after all of his mediocre performances so theres no chance whatsoever that he will be sold.
On the other hand, Alexis will most probably bring in more money than Pedro, which can also be a reason why they are considering to sell him instead...

No one is interested in Pedro and no one would pay more than € 10 million for him so it does no harm keeping him in the squad (just don't start him every freaking game).
I'm sure Alexis won't be sold either unless someone bids € 30 million. However the only teams interested are Italian ones like Inter and Juve and they simply can't afford him. All they are doing is fucking around with some silly loan deal offers.

Are City still interested in Sanchez? They were linked with him a while back but I haven't heard anything recently. They would be one of the few clubs who could afford to pay €25m for him in one go.

I love this player even if he failed a lot.
Don't forget that he's still young and has a lot to learn. I think that he will progress a lot during next seasons avec I clearly wouldn't like to see him succeed for another team.
Neymar-Tello in the left wing, Alexis-Deulofeu in the right one. Sell this Pedro to a team like Atletico or Valencia. He hasn't the level .

I think that the club see it more as Neymar in - Villa out. They'll consider selling Sanchez if a good offer appears, though.

The last couple of posts were interesting conversation. I agree, if Neymar comes...one of them will go, especially with the club being pressured to include Deulofeu into the first team.
When Pedro was first included in the team by Pep, I couldn't stand him. However Pedro won me over slowly. The truth is, Pedro is not great at anything other than pressing. He is a jack of all trades who had a good eye for goal as well, but we haven't see much of that this season or last...and that makes him average to me at best. How much of this is his fault vs how the coaching staff is forcing everything through Messi is another very, very interesting conversation.
Alexis has his own style, people like this, including me. However he just isn't a natural goal-scorer what-so-ever. The back of the net is a foreign country to him and I don't see that ever changing. He's been improving, but what do you see him improving to....a once in great form....Pedro, no?!
I like Tello. I like his confidence, I like his direct approach to things at times. We need that in the team. I'd love to keep him, but if we brought in Neymar we'd basically be buying an improved version of Tello. So...eh?
Honestly, Villa is definitely going. He deserves better from a club and he'll want to spend his last few years starting and not sitting on the bench. Neymar-Messi-Alexis with Pedro, Tello and Deulofeu could work if we keep going with the false 9.

It could be, but Neymar as replacement for Villa is a bad idea. And with all those players, Deulofeu would never see any action either.
