Alexis Sanchez

Can't dribble, doesn't creat goalscoring chances for himself, only scores tap-ins that others create on a platter for him, doesn't defend. Poor man's Alexis Sanchez. Next? :coffee:

To be absolutely serious, I can't think of anybody that could replace Sanchez that we could buy on the market, other than the usual suspects--Marco Reus or Luis Suarez. Other than that, the only mobile forwards that I could see succeeding for us are La Masia boys (i.e. Adama, Deulo, el Haddadi, etc.). BTW, hasn't Lamela had a flop season? Why can't we bring him here so that Lucho can sort him out again? He could probably be had for cheaps. If he can rebound, then boom! Mobile, tall, Argentinian, right winger.

We don't have to have Reus. We can take a chance on Deulofeu. I don't get why this forum wants to buy when they gloat about the up and coming youngsters.

Nobody cares about this besides Sumlit :coffee:

Perfect player for Messi, Xavi and Iniesta's through passes and for Alves' crosses :worthy:
Actually I care about it too. Solo skills are very important when the system goes haywire and there is anarchy on the pitch. CR has ample dribbling skills he is one of the top dribblers in La Liga. He is not Iniesta or Messi class by any means but he holds his own. CR would be huge for this club as he knows how to dump the ball in the net, but he is a massive twat and a very hateable figure. Anyone saying they would rather have Alexis over CR is a complete joke.

Suarez will be 90 million quid, he will probably go to the enemy. The only guy I'd get rid of alexis for is Marco Reus.

We dont need to change our frontline...Maybe a tall benchwarmer for plan b. Dont forget the hot prospects from barca b!

The one thing that really pisses me off about Alexis is his disappearing act in the Champions League. Against the best in Europe he looks out of his depth or even downright shitty at times. He gets way too nervous and either falls over, has a failed dribble or just makes back passes.

He's good to have in La Liga though. If someone pays 40-45 million I say sell-otherwise he should stay at the club.

How about taking a risk on Lamela though? Deulo and Lamela for that RW spot.

Lamela is an exciting prospect out of Serie A who then flopped horribly at an EPL club, while Alexis is an exciting prospect out of Serie A who has been steadily improving for us. Why would we ever replace Alexis with Lamela? And Delo is nowhere near ready to start for us

Again this, I'd keep Pedro and sell Alexis, Pedro is way more consistent in front of goal and he suits our style of play unlike Alexis who is better off in the premier league.

Its not like there is some reason he would do bad against Atletico or Real Madrid in the CL but do great in the league against them. Thats not really sensible.

 !

2 seasons ago , Pedro had around 25 consecutive league games without scoring a goal . In the last 3 seasons Alexis has been 2 times better than Pedro but some people still want Alexis gone

So basically 80% of our squad is shit. The last 2 seasons were horrible (hello 100 points) and the whole club is doomed.
And you call the others not objective?

No. 2-3 players don't fit our system and never will (Fabregas, Alexis, Song), and some of them are at the end of their cycle at Barca (Xavi, Alves)

All players playing the forward line with Messi has long stretches of dry spells in front of goal. David Villa was a shadow of his days in Valencia and Spain for us.
