Alexis Sanchez

There is always a lot of nonsense from this junta (Zubi, Bartomeu), especially when it comes to players who should leave and not leave. Just because Barto says that Alexis will stay so it does not mean it will happen. Those who followed football long enough knows that it's a tactic to get the player's value to increase. Many clubs are using this tactic.

actually his full interview reflects the opposite.

"I can confirm we have received offers from several clubs for Alexis Sanchez," he said at a press conference. "Not just for what he has done at the World Cup but for what he has done before.

"He's a player there in the market that people have got an eye on but he's our player for the moment and he's a basic member of the way our team plays.

"He fits our system, he had a magnificent season last season. He scored a lot of goals, provided assists, had a lot of the ball.

"He's a player we would like to have with us next season. But we are getting a lot of calls from clubs who are making offers to buy Alexis Sanchez."

Let's hope he stays. I would hate to see him play and do damage vs Barca in some other team. I already saw him vs Iniesta, Busi & Co. and it wasn't pleasant.

I would appreciate it a lot if he stayed in Barca. I'm irritated by the rumours about bringing suarez and selling Sanchez. Let's hope that never happens. I don't see suarez in a Barca-shirt.

What bashing? I defended him for a while, but 3 seasons being poor in the 2nd half was too much. Alexis, on the other hand, improved a lot this past season. And saying a player doesn't fit isn't bashing. You won't find posts of mine saying Cesc "stepped" on the ball or something like that.

You posted an article about Cesc falling out with Del Bosque, which was followed with an avalanche of "rotten apple" criticisms, after which I said "Geez, he's gone now. Let it go!". To which you replied ":452:".

Just saying!

I was joking with you... that's why I posted the smiley. The article was just because there were rumors of Tata saying Cesc was hard to deal with, so it was relevant.

I hope he goes to the EPL. I think he would rip it up at Liverpool playing end to end frantic football. It would really suit his skill set and I would certainly tune in to watch him play with all his Chilean flair.
