The best legend, barcelona willn't have.

He is going to be a hell of a player. And i am going to remember this as the worst barca transfer ever. Shame.

He's great. But selling Alexis for 40m euro to facilitate Suarez coming in is hardly going to be the worst transfer we've ever done, to put it mildly. It's a great transfer and a great deal that works out well for both clubs. Perhaps Alexis can realize his potential and show the form he has with his NT more easily at Arsenal and in the PL.

Wenger isn't known for ruining players. He's known for improving them to the point that they think they're bigger than Arsenal, at which point they leave for City/Barca/Madrid/etc

Players who pass through Arsenal lately have had a habit of turning into position less and tactically clueless - Wenger helps them offensively at the expense of making them forget how to fit into a system.

Perhaps it's only for players who grow up in that system, like Cesc though. Henry and Viera turned out all right after all.

Actually Henry had that problem too to some extent but for him it was more easily justifiable

Right, but I can give you plenty of examples of young and inexperienced players that have in fact developed their tactical understanding at Arsenal. I understand that he's not the highest rated coach around here but there is absolutely nothing wrong with how he develops his players. Player development is probably one of his biggest strength as a coach. He's just got different ways of working and from the outside it may seem like he just doesn't teach them the tactical aspects of the game but of course that's not true.

Alexis is certainly not going to be "ruined" at Arsenal...

Arsenal agreed a 43M deal in principle with Barcelona for Alexis. Barcelona are now waiting to see if Juventus can match the bid [dailymail]

Ronaldo to Inter to RM comes to mind. Missing out on Alfredo di Stefano comes to mind. But Alexis? Legend? Sure. You keep telling yourself that.
