We understand we need a proper striker for Xavi's system but the one he want has played football for a decade and hasn't scored more than 15 goals in an entire league season in his career despite playing for those kind of clubs.

Feels like this is a Torres redemption arc in making except 3-4x as long. The knee slide at Anfield was just a blip on the radar of some mad shenanigans that make him shed the irremovable loser rep

That said, as in other thread, it literally makes 0 sense to spend a single penny on him if you could either buy some decent element for attack to entice Haaland further provided money is made from Griez+Cou to facilitate move, or give it to Raiola. Honestly dont understand it if it materialises. Fucking why. Even waiting and holding that 40M and dumping the entire savings on Harry Kane in the event of failing with Haaland makes more sense.

Or go buy Aubameyang for half the price if so desperate for a striker now.
