Gomes is a player who needs room to unfold his strenghts and allowing him the offensive role of that what I call Bob-Rafinha pair could do wonders. He is not that kind of tiki-taka player, but the guy who runs 30m with the ball at his feet. In my opinion he is good at it.

Agree! He should never be a starter for Barca! Way too timid with the ball, easily panic n prone to mistake! Need time each match warming the bench watching his teammates play to build up his motivation n desire to prove himself and then come in after half time then he d be good, IMHO!

You say he has "Excellent" physical qualities. What qualities are you speaking about, exactly? His speed? He's the slowest player on the team, he's somehow even slower than Busquets. His strength on the ball? Don't make me laugh, when he has the ball and someone else wants it, that someone else usually gets it. His tackling? I don't think so, he's almost never able to execute a tackle for us. So tell me... what are these "Excellent" physical qualities you're talking about? How is it possible for someone to overlook these facts and pretend they're not true just because Madrid and Barca wanted him?

Now, onto his "Excellent" technical abilities, I once again have to ask... where? His passing range is probably only second to Arda in terms of how bad it is, he crumbles the moment he's put under any sort of real pressure, his positioning is weak and he often gets bypassed by his team because of it, and he doesn't have any dribbling skills to speak of, so tell me... what are these "Excellent" technical qualities you're talking about? How is it possible for someone to overlook these facts and pretend they're not true just because Madrid and Barca wanted him?
