Slower than Busquets?
So you're not only denying that he's a powerful player, but somehow think he's slower than Busquets. I'm sorry, I'm not going to take your opinion seriously.
Positioning is tactical, crumbling is more psychological than anything else. As for dribbling skills... does that mean that Xavi was technically mediocre? Or Modric? Yeah, sure. By the way, not that it's a key quality for a midfielder, but he's not bad at all at that, but of course he is no Iniesta. He is good with both feet and has much better ball control than Rakitic, for example. For a guy this tall, he has great composure and the ability to play in tight spaces, although he excels whenever he finds space (because he is somehow slower than Busquets in a parallel universe). The problem is, he is inconsistent. He shows moments of brilliance but he's been unable to put his shit together so far. His decision making needs improvement if he wants to be important here, same with his attitude, but that doesn't have anything to do with his inherent physical and technical qualities to play the game.
And, again, why where Madrid and Barça after him last summer? Because...
