Vítor Baía, Part II.
Fans in the stadium can't simply go to the player and kindly point his mistakes, so the only thing they can do to show disappointment is booing, they are paying customers and are in their right to show discontent... That doesn't make them any less loyal to the club...
Btw who was the last player to get jeered at Camp Nou?
How else do fans show their discontent?
Gomes has been consistently awful. What do you expect fans to do?
I think the fans have been very patient with him.
Btw who was the last player to get jeered at Camp Nou?
I honestly can't remember.
Rejoice. He's staying one more season, as per the interview Robert is giving right now. Link with translation in his thread.
Yeah, the Sporting Director should have said he will sell one of his player in March. It is gr8 way to increase his value, keep the players focused and encouraging them.
Not about that... There are many ways to not trash a player in interviews. Robert made clear he's not leaving, regardless of "not fitting or having found a place in the team yet", which were his words. That's not really something that would increase his value.
There is nothing he can say that can increase his value, there is a lot that decrease our ability to get his value.
Players know what is being said, and they will stand for each other. Roberto is in no position to say anything but to clearly say "he is staying,he has the potential" ,hell I was expecting more of "he is good and the coach and the team appreciate what he give us,fans are unfair etc" type of shit if he was asked about Gomes.
There are things he can say to decrease it, and that's what he did. He said he doesn't fit and hasn't found a spot. But he'll stay nonetheless, because he has potential and needs time. He even mentioned laudrup and koeman as examples. Gomes is not leaving. If Robert was considering selling him, he wouldn't say what he did. He'll sell rafinha and denis before selling gomes.
Ok,what did you want him to say. Because the way I see it is with such logic's he is wrong no matter what he says.
I'd want him to be as vague as possible. that would mean there'd be a little chance of selling him. Won't happen, though. For some reason, he loves Gomes. It's his project.
