Gomes has great overall physical tools actually,in terms of height speed & strength but he had no idea how to use it here.I think his point is that under another team and coach he could learn how to put those in use while playing more type of football that suits his game

We've seen a lot of players who succeed in other clubs and then fail at Barcelona, because of adaptation problems.

Andre is just tall, he is quicker than Busquets obviously, but that's not much of a compliment. Also he is not using to a full effect his physique - he is evading challenges, really lacks the bravery which Rakitic shows.

We agree more or less in every other part,but I disagree with this one, considering his height he is very fast player and he has shown that few times that he can run very fast although he does that off the ball. The fact that you are arguing that actually proves my point further. The guy has no clue how to put use his physical tools in the game. Won't blame you for thinking otherwise,because those few times was really few

Anyone with half a brain cell shouldn't rate him. This is where we need to be ruthless in this transfer window and get rid of the dead wood. Like Pep is doing with City, like he did with us when he got rid of Deco and Ronaldinho.

I never believe this stuff, I dont think Messi would ever tell anyone what he thinks of the team and we would ever find our about it.
Messi is not a vocal guy about his team or manager or management. They are definitely made up stories.

People stick it to him that he's not Iniesta but that's an unreasonable expectation, even less so for a 30 or 35M player. I don't think another Iniesta will appear in our lifetime, but if one does with 23 years of age, he'll cost more than Pogba did.
