Where have I ever said Gomes is a brilliant player or any thing like to two legends you mentioned ??

I just think he has a lot of potential and he's disimilar to anything we currently have in the squad .

I have shown as much potential to be worthy of playing for Barca as Gomes. Also i'm dissimilar to anything in the Barca squad. Barca should sign me

It's because most of them are old(Iniesta), overrated(Rakitic) or deadweight(Arda).

What frustrates me most about Gomes is that he does find himself in great positions to shoot, but his finishing is terrible.

Wasn't it Zidane who recommended Varane to Real Madrid? Plenty of coaches are shit at identifying good players but perhaps he does have an eye.

i really want to be positive and optimistic believing he'll improve but hes shite for Portugal as well.. i don't understand what Lucho and robert saw in him, never stood out for me when he was at Valencia either
