I hope he spends a lot of time on the bench, starting only in Copa Del Rey matches. He is definitely the worst midfielder on the squad. I even started to like Paulinho, no matter the fact no one passes him the ball.

I'm not going to dodge from the fact that I thought he would be a very decent signing, although I thought Lucho would go even more radical and use B2B Midfielders which would suit him.

I don't think he will suit the team now though. The club need to return to its roots.

He's not a bad player, or at least he wasn't. Look at him in Benfica and his first season in Valencia.

If it was up to me, I would clear out our entire midfield next summer. Absolutely everyone except for Iniesta who seem to be staying, Busquets, Roberto and Paulinho who we won't get rid of anyway.

If Valverde can change him, that would be amazing. Not asking him to be a WC player, but if he can be more confident and make decent passes then that'll be good enough.
