Hey Everton, There is this midfield maestro called Andre Gomes. La Liga winner, Double Copa winner, European Championship winner. Pivotal in the winning goal of the 2016/2017 Bernabeu El Clasico. Oh and he can make asian girls hearts melt so imagine the shirt sales for you.

Digne, Mina, Andre Gomes for 100+ combined. Make it happen, get some championship winning DNA in your life.

Don't forget future Ballon d'Or winner

I know I have said that multiple times, but I genuinely believe that loaning him is the better option. VFC has a small squad and CL football, he will do great there. I think we can get out of him 40m+ if he gets his chances.

He is a great player but did not fit here and we do not really need the money right now. We can do without selling him this season.

^ I disagree with both statements. His price will definitely increase if he does well and we have got enough money to buy a WC midfielder without selling him.

With the potential sales "Lucas, Mina and Vidal", we are going to be 16m+ add to that our regular transfer budget, which is about 60m - 70m = 75m at least without selling Marlon, Munir and Rafi.

Remember he revealed during an interview last season that he was succumbed to a lot of pressure and pain for all the criticism he received? So much so that our fans came out openly to support him on and off the field (kudos to our fans). The internet can be really vicious. People died because of online bullying etc. Celebrities are people too. They can be sensitive too.

He is obviously still under a lot of pressure, at least not feeling great, not knowing what and where his future is. You can fault him for not performing or being a mediocre player but you can't really fault him for being anxious.

For his own good I hope we sell him soon and he will find another place to get up and shine.

Solution is easy. Delete all social media accounts and stop worrying what other people think about you. If you want to be praised and adored, be prepare for the other side of the coin, because it s always there.
Essentially his problem is 100% self produced and very common these days.
