Criticism is something most pro athletes have to deal with.
Even Messi and Ronaldo have haters.
He just has to suck it up, work on his game and everyone else can piss the fuck off.
That’s the type of mentality he has to have.
If he’s not good enough here, which is clearly the case, then he can always go somewhere else. Still has a lot of time on his side cuz he ain’t that old.

Honestly I don't care about Ballon d'Or payment, it was clear since the beginning that he'd won that trophy at some point. But we completely robbed Valencia with that 35 million fee lol Gomes was easily worth 100 millions back then. So we can pay them some random 5 million euros as bonus, we still got Gomes for cheap.

I just hope PSG don't start batting their eyelashes at him. If they manage to tempt Gomes who can we build our team around for the next 10 years?
It's bad enough that the next Cafu, Douglas, won't sign a new deal.
