Yeah, that's what I meant... He has shown his better moments when playing closer to goal or in chaotic games, and I don't know if that's the reason why he was signed...

Either way, it looks like this season is going to be full of that kind of games...

Rafinha's been doing very well. But not in that position. He's been the best as a winger, not as a CM.

I really hope so. When I look at that midfield it makes me sick to my stomach as a Barca fan. It's hard to blame our midfielders for being shit, when the system itself is the problem. That goes for Denis and Rafinha too, no matter how popular bashing them may be.

You know, I have never believed Rafinha has the quality to be a big name here, but he has been probably our best midfielder/backup-winger without any shadow of a doubt, and has done a lot to help the team, both in effort and end product... So yeah, even with things against them, they still have managed to contribute and most of the flak is indeed unwarranted...

I have no problem with Rafinha being one of the fist solutions from the bench, or with him playing as a starter from time to time. However, fact of the matter is this was a key game, chance to go 1st in the league, and Lucho benched our two best midfielders, Rakitic and Andre Gomes.

Put Rafinha as RW and play Rakitic/Gomes next to Denis and we're in a much better spot. Playing Arda as RW when he's only ever had a good game in Neymar's position while forcing Rafinha and Denis to play CAM together was suicide.
