Haha, for one thing Xavi can't score a freekick like Pirlo does.

Xavi does score free kicks, but Pirlo certainly does have that particular elegance when he does take them.

They're hard to set apart from each other. Both remarkably consistent players who dictate the tempo of a game and both have been hugely successful and still going strong (albeit Xavi is suffering with injuries now).

Pirlo uses both feet, mixes up his passes alot more than Xavi, takes more risks, more dribbles and is more virtuoso, also has better hair.

Xavi makes alot shorter passes & demands the ball a bit more than Pirlo.

Both great, but Xavi is slightly better. But Pirlo is better to watch IMO

Pirlo has better free kicks, better long and chipped passes, better shot and better tackling. Xavi has better short and through passes, better crosses, is more dominating, more methodical and ultimately more influential to the teams he plays.

Xavi is alot more mobile also, Pirlo comes across as lazy, but the reality is he's as slow as a turtle, which makes him even more of a boss.

Pirlo is everything that makes a genious in real world a bad player in FIFA,not hardworking,not physically good,not great defensively,not a finisher/long shot taker like Lampard/Gerard but still in the top 3 midfielders in the world

He doesn't have the matching trophy cabinet, but that's down to how poor Milan has generally been over the last 10 years, despite the CL wins and all that. He's still rippin' it up at Juve though!
