Andres Iniesta

wasnt it deflected?

Possibly, I never saw a clear angle. If it did, it didn't look significant, the ball looked like it had full power and followed a straight path. Regardless, he did spot a narrow slot between defenders directly to the goal.

REVISION: At 3:13 in this video, it does look like it took a glance off the knee of Chile's #8, so Iniesta was slightly off in the direction of his strike. But that doesn't take away from his skill in spotting the opening.

The way he put Cesc through on goal, for the equalizer was phenomenal

yea it was amazing. the man has x ray vision, he sees gaps that no one can ever see and he's always 3 seconds ahead of everyone else, that through ball was just insane. though sadly we are no longer surprised or blown away by it since he does it so often, those passes have become second nature to him.
