I dont think Messi would be able to do a shot like Iniesta did against Chelsea. Only Iniesta,Xavi or Henry could position a shot like that. I love Messi and whatnot. But honestly i wouldn't hand that chance to anyone but Iniesta,Xavi or Henry. I chose Henry because he has always had that amazing touch for the ball. Well IMO anyway. I think Messi would have tried to have a touch before hitting it. If Iniesta had a touch before hitting it. They would have shut him down right away. But instead he hit it without taking a extra touch. If he took the touch it would have hit a chelsea player. Or hit a chelsea player on the hand. We would then get a penalty and score anyway.

Best player in the world IMO. Messi has a beautiful touch of the ball, brilliant control and second-to-none dribbling (though Iniesta isn't far behind lol). Messi can strike well, but not, as others have said, as well as Andres can on his first touch.

I love how Xavi and Andres bring out the best in each other, best midfield pairing to grace a pitch in years. I keep thinking of other MF's and who would play well with Andres, but even though I can think of one or two who are better MF's than Xavi in their own right, none can play the passing game as he can, and certainly not when he's playing with Iniesta.

Absolutely love them both. Had a giant wall-size poster of both of them made a few weeks back. It covers my whole wall (when I say huge, I mean HUUUUUGE You have to stand back to just to look at it all). I love Messi, but Iniesta is in a league of his own. Division Epic. lol. Messi is in Epic Division Two; Xavi, Gerrard and 6 or 7 others in Division Three lol

i am in awe of his abilities... what i would give for a player like at United for me he is not only the best midfielder in the world but the best player too..he should win the world player of the year but he won't Messi will because he scores more golas and contrbutes more to goals but for me Inestia is on another level to everybody else... amazing
