Don't worry STO, i'll tell them.

It started off on a beautiful day in September, the 17th I believe, the sun was shining, the sky was blue and the birds cherping in their nests, filled the cool air with song. Little did STO know, that this day, he would meet someone quite unexpected.

Amsterdam was the location, STO had been told on the phone to be in Red Light District for 7pm, he didn't know why, or what would be happening there, but the inrtsuctions were clear, "Red light district, 7pm, wait for my call.."

7pm.

*Do do do do di di di di*...."Hello?"...."Strip joint, opposite from were you are standing..." "Who is this!?!..." "Just go, ask for Max"....

STO, anxious, approached the strip bar, appropriately named "Super Fun Happy Time" and entered. As he stepped through the door, the music stopped, everything stopped and everyone turned and looked. 5 seconds passed, but it seemed like an enternity, but after those 5 seconds elapsed, everyone continued with their business. "Okaaaaay" STO thought to himself as he walked to the bar.

"I'm here to see Max"..

"Max you say.."....."Yes, Max..."...."Take a seat in the booth in the far corner"....

STO followed the intructions, sat down in the booth and waited patiently. After 2 minutes a woman came in with long black hair that covered most of her face and wearing a highly seductive dress. She started to get closer to him, and began to dance to the music that suddenly came on. She got onto STO's lap and said, "Have you got the package?" to which STO replied "I've got A package right here baby!". The woman was furious with his response, stood up, placed her hand apon her head and removed the wig, throwing it to the floor very agressively. "NOW IS NO TIME TO BE PLAYING GAMES, WHERE IS THE PACKAGE!?" and with that, the female, who was now obviously a male pulled a knife from his tights strap.

"Ewwww, you're a guy! Hang on a second....you're Andres Iniesta!"

And that my friends, is the story of how our good friend STO here, met Andres Iniesta...

Brilliant

Well, not exactly. When I first went on the Camp Nou tour, ages ago, with my dad, we had this tour guide showing us around (went again this year & for some reason, we didn't have a tour guide?). Well, some chap asked the tour guide if any players were around & if there was any way we could speak with them. Needless to say, she said that this was impossible as all the first team players were all very busy etc. Just as she's telling us this, :iniesta: walks by, on crutches. Not sure how old he was, maybe a bit younger than I am now. The tour guide does her best to excite the group, saying that young :iniesta: is one of the club's most promising talents & all that jazz. Most of the group weren't really 'avin it but a few of us walked over & shook his hand & shit, my dad tells me he was very shy, I don't remember talking at all, I was probably even more shy than :iniesta: was  I don't remember too much of it to be honest. At the time, no one in the group knew just how good he was or that he'd become one of the club's best players but I suppose it's still good to have met him, even when he wasn't a first team player....

I've got a question that concerns Iniesta, but also Xavi. I've noticed that when representing Spain, Iniesta wears number 6, and Xavi number 8, even though it's the other way around in Barcelona.

Anyone who can explain to me why? It would be much appreciated..

Why..?
"...well last night I mis-placed my dictaphone device somewhere in the study, and when I happen to look for my pair of scissors to cut a bag of rice this afternoon, I found the dictaphone in the kitchen drawer..?

Anyone who can explain to me why? It would be much appreciated...

I loved it when he was in the lower part of the half circle (playing DM?)...pressured by 1 or 2 opposition players and he just ~turns~ the ball and suddenly runs off. I remember the first time i saw him do that, i thought it was a dangerous skill that looked TOO DAMN EASY to be true.
He didnt score much that time but he would make one or 2 REALLY aggressive runs into the area and blast it wide usually. And then there was the Barca Benfica away match, and Sir Charlton made comments about 'the number 24' ( His number then)
His ball control is graceful, elegant, superb, precise, planned.Dribbling wise...he is always so bloody determined. I hate it when wingers/wing forwards are pressed by one fullback and they usually pass the ball back BUT, It's different with Iniesta, he does the Theoretically Easy ( on Pro Evo)-but Practically hard ( for a LOT of wingers) SKILL of going inside the fullback and then pushing the ball towards goal again in 3 touches. He does it to ‘lower’ defenders and ‘better’ ones. His dribbling is different from messi’s of course, it's in fewer touches, different angles from defenders legs and different directions. So so Precise and Illogical at times.
Beats players in front of him on the wing, outside the box, at the half circle, wherever, he dribbles slowly but precisely and then he’s in acres of space and I just wish he had a cracker of a foot like ( Gerrard or Sir Clarence or Ronaldo etc)
He embodies direct football.
Nowadays a lot of my friends talk about him and how he is above average bla bla...how his passing is good, how his vision is superb.....But for me...I consider all that,,,,a ‘Duh’ when i think about Iniesta ....Best midfielder for me after Xavi ( or maybe on par? Cant decide hehehe )
In the end...the one that really gets to me...Is the Bloody Turn...they should make a name for that...
The:
Iniesta-turn....Snake-skin...the-Iniesta ( and see adidas put it on their soccer tutorial website or is it the UEFA website? ) ( has a nice Spanish ~ring~ to it like an exotic name for a skill like rabona or etc)....2-bird-with-a-stone? ….. Ghost-turn (getting worse? )…… gone-with-the-wind ?(? Damn this is hard)…obviously I need help before I start using analogies with ballerinas in them…
The bloody turn.... 3 touches usually and he has SUDDENLY circled 1 or Escaped from 2 pressuring opposition players...and he bursts forward ( even though he's not super fast but hell...after he does THAT kind of a turn...nobody's left to tackle him for the next few yards..)...... El Salvador…Andres Iniesta…Master of the Turn… ( I’ll give a chocolate chip to anyone who tells me what u call a ‘turn’ in Spanish?)

Nice :D I once did the tour and Messi was doing some charity work so we couldn't interupt, but he was like 1meter away from me :messi::worthy:

@lujan:

Yeah its bloody amazing how he stays soooo calm under pressure and always finds the best solution. I always think/thought he's gonna lose the ball when he's surrounded by 3/4 opposition players, but he always dribbles himself out of trouble. He's a class act.:iniesta::wub:

What the hell was that ? Don't understand spanish, but looks like some Madrid youth academy ... I heard he was ABOUT to join but then came to La Masia, never knew he spent some time there.

Hola, new member here

I can't begin to tell people how much I love Iniesta. Just his humility, as well as his breath-taking skills, along with his angelic expressions almost make it seem like he can do no wrong. Don't get me wrong, I don't like Iniesta more than I do the whole team, but if I had to pick a favorite player on the squad, it'd be him.

I'm praying he'll be fit and ready to go for Wednesday's big showdown in Rome. Him and Henry, too.
