Well to be honest you can replace Bale with Ronaldo in that sentence and it would still be true...Barca fan seriously underrate the qualities Ronaldo and Bale are good at..

Gonna be honest with you, eventhough C.ronaldo has a better goal ratio against us than Di Maria, Di Maria on the ball frightens me much more than C.Ronaldo. Di Maria has that ability to make things happends from nothing. He can take the ball in his own half and then dribble past 4-5 players and make a throughball to leave a teammate one-on-one with the keeper. Plus, his shots ain't that bad either. Still remember that 40m goal against Germany in a friendly.

Exactly. Bale's goal in the CDR final for instance, which no Barca player is capable of scoring.

Really? You think that no Barca player could replicate that goal? All you need for that goal is pure raw pace and maybe some strenght. I mean, he was up against Bartra, who is really slow and IIRC was injured, and he had like 50m of opens space ahead of himself, so he could do the old kick and rush. Tello could probably replicate it as he is lightening fast aswell.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good goal. But it isn't Messi vs Getafe/Real Madrid level of dificulty to execute..

Dear Real Madrid fans, My time at Real Madrid has come to an end. It is impossible to capture all that I have lived here in just a few lines but this letter is to explain to you my feelings at this time of parting. In the four year that I have had the honour of wearing the shirt I have felt nothing but pride for everything that has occurred and that I have achieved together with my team mates. Sadly the time has come for me to leave, but I would like to make it clear that it was never my wish. Like every person that works, I have always wanted to progress. After winning the tenth Champions League I went to the World Cup with the hopes of receiving a gesture from the board, something that never arrived. Much has been said and many lies have been told. There has been a desire all along to attribute to me a desire to leave the club, something that has never been the case. Unfortunately it would seem I am not the type of footballer that appeals to one person in particular. The only things I ever asked for is what I considered to be just and fair. There are many things that I value and many of them have nothing to do with my salary. I hope to find them at Manchester United, one of the biggest clubs in the world and one with which I hope I can make history. I have had the good fortune to share a dressing room with some fantastic players who have been even more fantastic as companions. I believe that this was the key to winning the ‘decima’. I would like to apologise for the times that I made mistakes, both on and off the pitch. It was never my intention to harm anyone. I have sweated in this shirt playing every game as if it was my last. Sometimes things went well for me and other times they didn’t, but one thing I can assure you is that I always gave everything. I want to thank Spain for everything it has given me and especially for allowing my daughter to be born in this country. And especially to the people at the Monteprincipe hospital that will always have a special place in my heart. My wife, my daughter and myself will always be eternally grateful. Also to my colleagues that always gave me their support, through good and bad times, and to the various technical members of staff that I worked with and to all those people I worked with at the club on a day to day basis and with who I will always maintain a great relationship. I hope Real Madrid have a great season and achieve all the targets that this club always aims for. I will never forget the enormous show of affection shown to me when I came onto the pitch at the Bernabeu for the recent Supercopa match. Thinking about it still gives me goose bumps. I could not imagine a better farewell for what would unfortunately turn out to be my final game. Hala Madrid, and until forever. Angel di Maria

Nice letter to the fans there, he seems gutted to be leaving in all honesty. Hopefully it goes well enough at United that he won't be sorry he did.

Barca fans celebrating with us lol, not like we bought Ronaldo from them

nah , u bought someone better :coffee:

tbf Di Maria was waaaay more worrying than Ronaldo IMO

no..... its even better

Any rational Barca fan would rather want Ronaldo gone from La Liga than Di Maria. The gap in consistency between the two is enormous.

Definitely no Barca player can replicate that goal, the likeliest is Jordi Alba but even him I don't think can do that.

Last season it wasn´t and most are just happy that Di Maria won´t play against us anymore as he was a pain in the classicos.

I'm sure CR will still have peole give him assists.

The funnier thing about the whole thing is Falcao coming in now that they've freed up a non-EU spot for him. I can't wait to see Cristina throw hissy fits because he doesn't pass to him the way Bale and Benzema do :xavi:

BLASPHEMY!
It's kind of a hard choice but honestly id rather Di Maria leave over CR.
Sure he scores against us, but he does fuck all most games. Di Maria on the other hand is always causing havoc and panic against us. The dude just kills it against us ...it hurt me so T_T. And a lot of the times it was Di Maria making things happen that allowed CR to score.
Not going so far as to say CR will fall apart without Angel lol. But the team as a whole will miss him greatly.
Was easily their best player last season when it mattered.

Last season it wasn´t and most are just happy that Di Maria won´t play against us anymore as he was a pain in the classicos.

You mean the season where he was terrible uptil January? Di Maria is, at best, a half-season player.

2010/11 he was probably the most frustrating winger in the world (definition of headless chicken)
2011/12 he had that amazing half-season where he racked up a ton of assists, even playing sometimes at the attacking midfielder, i.e Ozil's position.
2012/13 he was invisible throughout, good game against Barca though in the 3-1 Copa del Rey win.
2013/14 nothing until January, then moved to his midfield position and started tearing shit up. Amazing half-season again.

Meanwhile Ronaldo has just had his 4th consecutive 50 goal+ season and just set a UCL record with 17 goals in 1 season. Even if you consider the end of last season when he was struggling with injury, Ronaldo has 22 goals in his last 21 Madrid games. He's a lot likelier to be responsible for Madrid winning La Liga than Di Maria, which is why Barca fans should want him to go away. The Clasicos are only 2-3 games per year and statistically will not make as much of a difference in the title race. Yes, in 2014 Di Maria has definitely outperformed Ronaldo in Clasicos. However 2012 and 2013, Ronaldo outperformed him, he scored in 7-8 consecutive Clasicos and also in 6? consecutive games at the Camp Nou.

Let's not forget the only game that Madrid lost last UCL campaign and almost got eliminated was vs Dortmund where Ronaldo didn't play. And guess what, Di Maria missed what could have been a crucial penalty only for Mkhitaryan to save his blushes.

guess then you're the only "rational" fan here :coffee:

I agree.

Ronaldo will be useless without Di Maria giving him service

dat service.

Lol maybe its my Barca bias but I just don't see what everyone else see in Angel being the best RM player. I'd rate Modric ahead of him just based on how consistent he is. @FootyFan laid it out best. The fact that RM got that money out of United for him is astonishing.

And that shot he took in his letter was for Perez who traded him in for a new galactico.
