The midfield absolutely needs to be addressed and that should be our focus, invest heavily in it and we'll be back in the CL Finals. Make a big splash and get us Eriksen.

I'm guessing the board believed he'd stay, just as 99% of us fans did, and eventually greed and egoism fucked us over.

Alegedly we were after Dembélé the summer before, so he was most likely in their plans from the beginning. Yes, he was way too expensive, but was always going to be with the Ney gold. Both him and Cou where logical transfers.

Dont really care about the video and dont think it is any humiliation to Barca.

The whole dynamic of what Barca needed changed after Neymar left and until he leaves he could still change his mind.

We needed a midfielder didn't we? Who did we try to sign first again? Or should I remind you? Marco Verratti for the second consecutive summer. What happened again? I think you know that.

Then who did we go for after Verratti delivered his public apology? Coutinho. First bid last week of July.

What happened? We had to wait until January not being able to use him in the CL.

Are Verratti and Coutinho similar type of midfielders? Nope.

Poor planning, but I guess as long as there's enough people to defend them they'll continue to roll on.

I'd prefer Thiago for what we actually need but they'll go for Eriksen imo. Barto needs a huge name to save face and Eriksen was rumoured to be 'plan b'
