I would rather go for Hazard but if we can get him for similar wages and transfer fee to what we could offload Coutinho for, then I'd take him

Never this cunt, even if the fit seems better; same case goes with Neymar - Fantastic player on his day, but also a massive narcissist with a head bigger than the time he had the mumps.

Sell Coutinho for 100+ mil. euros and Rakitic for 60+ mil euros (and possibly Umtiti if the situation calls for it) to either Man Utd/PSG/Man City and get Jovic, De Ligt and Nicolas Pepe.

Talked about it as an option a few weeks ago in this very thread or the transfer rumors thread (don't recall) as I had a suspicion of the club trying to sign him again this summer. Would love it personally but I do understand that many fans would be against it. As a player he would fit like a glove and his world class is undisputed. Not his fault that he is playing in a system, for a manager and in a club that barely is able to create anything if Griezmann has a bad day. Despite that his numbers are amazing.

His buyout clause is 200m and he would want an insane salary.

He rejected us because he thought he was equal to Messi and CR.

He should stay(rot) in Atletico and prove it

No. Marca and other local papers are saying that his buyout close (until this June) will be €120 million. So not much of a difference from last year.

Not sure why loyalty (him staying for Atlético was and is a good thing in objective terms) is a bad thing or him not wanting to be a fish among others in the pond with Messi being the fisherman. Harmless dude. A child in a man's body. Can't get worked up over his celebrations (lol) or some statements. Not long ago he praised the likes of De Jong and he has always been respectful towards us. I will take a one-legged Griezmann (provided he will play as good as he is currently doing) over the current version of the untouchable Donkey Suárez (for the most part).

He'll be 28 in a few days. Thought he was younger.

Can't get a better player for that sum. Albeit, his salary does look intimidating.

I'd go for it.

We have Lenglet and Umtiti is likely to be injury prone and/or below his best permanently. Clowntiti has also made a bigger mockery of us over the past 12 months than Griezmann did

What was Griezmann's mockery precisely? It was the idiotic local press that were propagandizing that he was a done deal 6 moths before he took his final decision, lol, and us fans buying it. Much like most fans (I never did though) bought their propaganda of Coutinho being the Iniesta replacement.

As long as no contract has been signed and the other party is free to counter our offer (as Atlético did fair and square), that happens to be Griezmann's own club, there cannot be any talk of "betrayal".

I clearly remember him rethinking his decision for that exact same reason before making his final decision. So what that he filmed it and made a publicity stunt out of it much like many other sports stars have been doing in other sports (NBA)? Not something that I will applaud but fair enough much worse thing have been happening in the football world (no comparison really), and it can't be an easy decision and naturally a lot of people would be interested in his thought process due to his own role in all this (delaying the decision).

Piqué participating in it was far worse IMO as he is one of our own. Yet nobody (sane) cares or should believe that Piqué is now somehow a lesser culé. This is not how the real world works, I am afraid.

It is far worse for a player under contract for OUR club to be making such stunts as Umtiti did when under contract although I personally, although I disliked it, did not think much about it as this is the reality of today's football and I know that a French/Cameroonian guy from Lyon/Cameroon, maybe other than liking us a child and being a "fan", has no deep feelings for us unlike many La Masia graduates or locals. Perfectly normal and no elite club is any different in this regard.

EDIT: Incredile to see this much bitterness towards Griezmann at a Barça forum of all forums. Worthy of some small team mentality or some sleeping giants like say AC Milan, Liverpool, Inter etc. that have won jackshit in the recent many years. Or even the likes of Man Utd, Arsenal etc. Almost "Neymar" levels although the latter deserves the dislikes 1 billion times more.

He missed his shot. No hard feelings but he's older than last summer, and he would cost more. So no for me. He'll be 28 in a few days. We need someone younger and someone who's more of a solo no9. Griezmann has said repeatedly he likes playing with a 9. So clearly he doesn't see himself as the main striker. Like Luis clearly is for us.

RM should try him, they lack a prolific striker and he is.

He's not that prolific. They need someone with flat out amazing numbers.
