Must have been how Valverde felt last year in Rome. The severe dehydration symptoms had already kicked in for sure.

Might pioneer another field in the football world while we are it. Human cloning. Given the severe striker drought on the market we might as well clone Suárez. The odds of his younger clone succeeding eventually, some 20 years down the road, are probably more likely than us finding a direct replacement anytime soon.

I think that you need to google the definition of "copy-pasting". Quoting a few previous posts of mind when showing that I was right, when not wanting to repeat myself during a discussion etc. is not copy-pasting, repeating yourself let alone "praising" oneself. I have seen tons of users do it here and more frequently than I. I have done that 3-4 times. Most recently twice in the C. Ronaldo thread in order to not repeat myself.

BTW certain users need the same thing told twice and there is nothing wrong with giving praise to yourself, others or receiving it. The previous post, my reply to your post, in case you where not aware of it, was written with a hint of irony as nobody, not even myself (lol) is perfect. This guy is though.

Lets see. If Griezmann come last summer as it seemed was going to happen, we more than likely would have seen him ahead of Dembele in the pecking order (recall Dembele's squad position at the end of last season compared to Coutinho's) with Coutinho as first sub/rotation.

With that in mind, I am be very thankfully that we did not get Griezmann last summer as it gave Dembele the route to establish his credentials. And in a way, it makes it worth paying 120m now rather than 100m last year.

Quality wise theres no one better in the market to replace Suarez medium term. Griezmann IS world class. Jovic is not and may never be.

If the option was to sell Coutinho and sign Griezmann, especially now that Dembele has established himself as a starting option here, then I would take it.
