Dembele doesn’t deserve to be placed causally in that list .. I see what you did. He needs to prove himself as a player before one can place his name beside the name of well respected and accomplished players

How is Coutinho more proven or accomplished than Dembele?

Just recall all the awesome players Barca has thrown into that left-attacking position in recent years: a) Henry, b) Iniesta (in a few big games as well), c) David Villa, d) Alexis Sanchez, e) Neymar, f) Dembele, g) Coutinho and now Greaseman!

Surely I must be forgetting somebody. But, my point is that we have always faced this issue.

You could make the argument that we are still trying to replace Ronaldinho in that position. But in all fairness Neymar was as good a Ronnie replacement as we could get

The issue is that Brca been pigeonhole to many players that play otherwise at top or behind strikers. Only Ney and Dembele can be argued for the spot of a true winger. Pedro was decent filler thoguh

fatfuckrez that walks less than Messi still gets to stay over defensive workhouse Griezzman even with 10 men, I just don't get how every single match there is some insane unexplainable bullshit with this degrad manager.

Here's exactly what happens when Messi has an off game. I'm not sure why he gets a free pass as long as he is tracking back. He's contributing with defence but offensively he was the worst player. When we have to take the game by the scruff of the neck he's always missing. Takes the safest options and always passing it back. Hardly dribbles and couldn't create a decent chance. Coutinho is a midfielder by nature and he still has to play LW. Griezmann is still predominantly a forward and has no excuse whatsoever. And if you think about it, all we need is a winger who runs behind, not a dropping deep central player. Even Dembele saved Barcelona many points last season, despite his injuries. Being professional and hard working is a pre-requisite, but by no means it should be the only thing to have. Even before we are down to 10 men, I would have straight swapped him for Fati who did impress countless times when coming on. Vidal for Rakitic as well.

if we're going to praise defensive work, might as well put Vidal as a winger or something

Time for Griezmann to play the false 9 position in Suarez's absence, he gets wasted on the left wing

Ernie doesn't have a clue what a False 9 is or how is it supposed to work. And he is still our manager until Xavi makes his decision.

Doing worse than 86 kilo heavy weight with bad knees?

Griezmann 9 and Fati left wing can't be worse.
