Antoine Griezmann

The only microscopic chance he has to succeed is if Messi leaves so he can play off of a striker in the middle as in France NT and Atletico. Apart from that he is doomed.

It doesnt matter what he is doing he is just awfull. There is not even a slight of light at the end of the tunnel with this guy.

Not sure but I think transfers work in a way that the cost of them is spread over the years of their contract. So even if we sold Griezmann for 50m it'd still be recorded as a 22m loss because 120m/5 = 24. 2 years of contract done so 120-48 = 72. 72-50=22. So even selling him doesn't mean we can buy someone.

I don't know what to make of him. He does really well in tracking back and tackling balls away from the opposition. In attack leaves a lot to be desired and keeps occupying same spaces Messi would. I think it would be more effective offensively to start Trincao. I think he can still be useful as a supersub, coming in at every match in min 60-70 against tired teams where he can contribute a lot on both ends of the field.

At least after this we won't get the annoying French accounts telling us how we're just haters and we don't understand the genius of Griezmann.

He did alright but he has little to zero desire to get in the box. Often times he’s 25-30 yards out even when a cross is coming in.
