I want everyone Sacked who approved this signing. Look back at the thread , everyone was saying he doesnt fit yet these stupid guys just bought him.

Sack everyone who made that decision.

I've been talking about this for a while now. People claim our team building is awful because our board and management consist of people that have no clue about football. That they are businessmen.

What kind of businessmen give Dembele 12m and Frenkie de Jong 16m after joining from BVB and Ajax where their salaries were less than 5m each?

Real Madrid's reported wage bill with CR and all their stars was reported to be less than Barca, despite Xavi and Iniesta leaving.

Barca need to offer wages with more reasonable base salaries + higher bonuses for winning major titles like they do in Madrid.

The salaries at previous club are irrelevant really.

Players will try to get as much as they can and will point to transfer fees and competition for them to sign.

The salaries of Dembele and FDJ for what they were when signed are not all that out of line with what would expect.

FDJ would be the highest paid player in City, United, PSG, Arsenal, Bayern and Liverpool. Second highest in Madrid and Juve.

Maybe. All I'm saying is that these businessmen are piss poor at their job apart from generating revenue streams outside of football. When it comes to football whether renewing the team, negotiating contracts with our players or for other players, they're horrible at their job.

No he wouldnt.

De Jong is on 10m a season and rest is made up of incentives.

Likes of Hazard and Bale are on a lot more.

what comparison is that? hazard and bale were proven players. not one season wonders that you give 9 to 15M more on top of what they were winning?

He and Dembele are flops but at the moment I'd focus on getting rid of the amigos. After that let the new coach decide what to do with the rest of the team. We can sell him next year.

Even if the amigos are cleared out I don't really see him working out but we can't get rid of the whole team at once.
