Well, it hasn't really worked out so far.... I really hoped he would have a big impact and as a result get more game time.But he's been patchy at best so it's decision time for Lucho I guess.

I'd still love to see Arda stay but he would need to improve a lot and make more of an impact in games.That said, if we get a decent offer for him then maybe it's better to cut our loses.

Shame really, as he seems a great character.

That's the whole thing. The spot where he was playing at ATM doesn't exist in our system and it will never exist. He played as a CM for us and can't do the job (you can't get the tactical awareness at 29+ and he doesn't run enough - which is one of the reasons he was happy leaving ATM), and he's way too slow and not creative enough to play as a winger.

He can stay, but I really can't see him performing way better than what we have seen from him in the last 6 months.

The role that Rakitić occupies at the moment didn't exist before he came either. Suarez and Alba, as well. The team has to evolve, whether we like it or not. We can't just keep replacing players with the exact same type, but younger - because they don't exist. You find the best player you can, and you try to work around his strengths and the team's style to find common ground.

Besides, players can improve and adapt under different leadership. So far, I don't get the feeling that Enrique and Arda have had the luxury of developing that.

Unbelievable how some of you didn't take my post and the attributes i mentioned just as an example. Brought up attributes that are opposite (some) of Arda, just to emphasize my claim.
And I stand by my opinion. it's some cowards here that won't confess the fact that they dislike Arda because of his background.

I might be wrong, but so can you too. You don't know what people think and don't think in their hearts, that includes me too, and that's the reason I might be wrong.... Or might be right.

Let's give Arda a break. It isn't easy joining a team mid season after not playing for months. Vidal has suffered too. Suarez last season was being called a flop by some until he settled down.

I was keen on giving Arda a better chance to prove himself next season, and I'm still keen on it when it comes to sporting reasons, but with some players leaving for free we will need backups, and for backups we need money, so if a good offer comes I'll gladly sell, and by that I mean an offer that at least equals what we paid for him, there's no need to keep doing bad business decisions and giving away more money...

Turan is a more driven player than rocketic, I don't expect him to just transition into a workhorse.
I think the only chance he has on playing for barca is if he gets a bigger role, like iniesta's position, let him play there a lot of games, see what he can do and if he can show the flair he shows with turkey and atletico, meanwhile the rest would help iniesta stay fit for the rly big games.
If turan doesn't seem to come along then sell him next year.
