Inter open talks with Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan's agent

In Italy it has been revealed that the player's agent, Ahmet Bulut, has met with Inter Milan this week. The meeting, which took place close to the club's offices, served for Inter to display their interest and talk of making an offer of around 20 million euros. Barça hope to get more for the 30-year-old.

Arda is the symbol of everything that has been wrong about the board's transfer policy since 2015. Expensive, mediocre, unnecessary, overrated, hardly any room for improvement due to a rather advanced age etc. On top of that a player who was already declining physically when the club bought him and who most absurdly expressed a lack of sacrifice in terms of defensive work and running. Basically the epitome of a player that the club should avoid at all times.

Not only that the circumstances under which he was bought (election year and bought by a committee) was the icing on the cake.

To think that we could have bought Asensio (great job Zubi!) for a transfer fee that was 10 times smaller makes me almost vomit just thinking about it and what could have been.

He should be the first one to be shipped away this summer. Hopefully not too cheaply but knowing the board....
