If he would have played every other games as bad, then sure, but it is not the case, before the injury, he was okey.
I would not say "no matter what", we have given up on so many players because of that attitude and lost alot of resources. If a really good deal comes, then sure, but i would leave this for new coach to decide if he is needed or not.
He was not "okay" before his injury. He was lazy, uninspired, and brought very little to the team a long time before early April.
Sure, this year he has been pretty bad, but beginning of season he was okey, i remember people wanting to start him ahead of Neymar at some point. I still think it has alot to do with injury, he had abductor issues already in February, perhaps he was rushed back too early and injured himself again, while being not 100% fit.
Beginning of the season he was just okay. He had a hot streak at one point but as was easily pointed out most of these came against weaker opposition, or in dead games. Not even that lasted all to long, either. And in the season prior he was similarly lazy, uninspired, and did very little to help the team as well, but we can thank him for his contribution in El Clasico. If he doesn't foul Marcelo for no reason we're in first place without having to worry about Madrid's game in hand.
For me, he is the first player who needs to be shown the door this summer.
He plays like he doesn't care which is the most fatal flaw a player can have. He's literally the only player who I get such a lethargic vibe from in our team. Should be out the door even before Mathieu.
I couldn't agree more. You can't have guys like him in the dressing room goofing around and playing like this. He has no interest for winning, at least it looks that way. Sell him to Arsenal.
Yes, it is time to repay Arsenal after the stupid board bought so many duds from them.
Are all Turks so lazy? Arda, Özil...
Not really, Emre Mor at Dortmund is doing fine. But the general problem with people from this area (including Turks, Greeks, Balkans) is the mentality - "I'm #1, so why try harder?".
