Just register him and see what Fifa does. If they impose another ban then just send a B team to CWC and boycot their events.

Yes. It seems it's only Fifa of the organisations involved who have an axe to grind over this so put the pressure on them.

It seems like a dangerous play for only a couple of months, the risk is too high.

Whether we like it or not, FIFA is still the governing body, and it's not worth pissing them off if we only get Turan a month earlier than January.

"FIFA has said everything it had to say on Arda Turan and the organisation will not retract its decision.

Football's world governing body has confirmed that the ruling it made several days ago, that Barcelona would not be allowed to register the Turk as it conflicted with its statutes, is all it is going to say on the matter. The Catalans had asked FIFA - in writing - to clarify its ruling. They had asked it to simply permit or ban the Turk's registration in place of the injured Rafinha.

In this respect, FC Barcelona are now preparing to return to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, this time to try and push through Arda Turan's registration, as they believe they are within their rights to do.

However, before another visit to the CAS, FC Barcelona will first go to FIFA's Court of Appeals to underline that the legislation in Spanish football allows them ro replace a player who is injured long-term. That is the case with Rafinha and therefore opens the door for them, in theory, to register Arda Turan, despite FIFA's transfer ban.

Presuming that FIFA are not willing to listen to Barça's reasoning, the Catalan club's legal team are already preparing their case which they will take the CAS as soon as possible.

Before the CAS, Barcelona will not just take the 'Arda Turan Case', but they will also try to defend the rights of the young players who have been banned from training at La Masia with their teammates or living at the complex. The parents of the children affected are also wanting to take the case to the CAS.

On Monday night, the RFEF, whose rules clearly state Barça should be allowed to register another player, backed the club's quest to register Arda. The Spanish Sports Counil have also come out in support of Barcelona's bid to over-rule FIFA's decision.

Technically, Barça transfer ban -- which was effectively a registration ban -- ended on September 1, which as been ratified by FIFA. Therefore, and in keeping with the RFEF's rules, they believe they should be allowed to register Arda in place of Rafinha, who has been ruled out for more than six months with ligament damage."
