i dont give a sh!t about yaya toure, i talk about him because i think he was the perfectly suited to that position. if we had joe the clown in that position who was big, strong, awesome at short passing, good at dribbling, and great at positioning, i'd be a fan of joe the clown. it's about positions and getting players to fill them. the center of the pitch is the most important position on the field. if you are weak there, forget it, you cannot build an offense and you will be overrun on defense. and right now, we just have busquets sitting in that role all by himself. sure he might grow into the player that toure was in 08, but he's not going to do that unless we get someone to challenge him to improve. and not just that, honestly we have cover in every single position EXCEPT for dm. what happens if busquets gets injured? what are we planning on doing then? it makes no sense, we have cover everywhere else, we need cover for the DM spot. would we go into a la liga campaign with just bojan as our only striker?? well that's what we seem to be doing with busquets, and it seems suicidal.

again, this is not about toure. this is about someone who can step into the center of the field, help busquets improve, and help the team be stronger. yes, toure was doing all that, but now he's gone. we need to sign a replacement, or else we are in deep trouble. if you can't see that and would like to turn this into a bitch fight, then i'm sorry, i don't think you have the best interests of the team at heart. this is purely about how we can win the double, and we can't do it with only 1 DM who is yet to become the player he promises to be.

i know he is, the squad isnt right atm, but he has no idea whether the club is signing anyone for DM, hee's just assuming,

Maybe not the treble, but at least La Liga, yes of course. Even though I would like a spanish team, excl. Madrid, to win the CHL this season.

adil is right team is too unblananced so we need a move for a mid but i doubt we will sign anybody,..... all the signing should have been completed early in the preseason

and I agree with what Keita said, "We're thin in terms of roster..."

plus I read in Mundo Deportivo that it seems Guardiola's not happy with Rosell's handling of signings...
basically Rosell's trying to sign players without consulting Pep first to see what and who he needs... only Villa has been a pleasant arrival for Pep.

Everyone and their mom knows we need a backup DM at this point it's just funny how long it took for some people to realize it.
