Messi might be injured more seriously apparently. Think he'll end up playing through it but best thing he could do is just rest and hope the team can get him to the semi final. He wasn't great when playing the final with an injury in the first copa they won

There's been contrasting reports on his injury from what I can see. Some say that he is at risk of not making the QF game and some say that he will arrive in optimized condition. I believe it's more the latter since it's from Gaston Edul who is the journalist who is mostly travelling with the team and has great relationship with the national team.

Messi will be having some tests very soon so we should hear the news of his condition anytime today. Also depending on who the opposition is for the QF, he might just come on as a sub in the 2nd half which might be ideal.

With the GOAT being rested, the most probably lineup for the game vs Peru.
Excited to see both Garnacho and Carboni play today. Would have like Martinez Quarta to play at CB and not Pezzella to prep for the World Cup.
