Yeah, I guess Gnabry will be our starting right winger now, to be fair though he's a great player so we won't be hurt too much, but if he gets injured...

LOL typical Arsenal hyperbole. Gnabry is NOT a great player. Potential to be a great player? Yes. But he isn't one right now.

Unbelievable. This is a huge blow to Arsenal because there's a real lack of goalscorers now. By now, everyone has gotten used to Ramsey stepping up but he's out, Theo out, Giroud is not scoring, Bendtner out, Podolski is not an option as CF so that leaves Arsenal with what, Özil and Giroud as strikers?

Huge blow to Theo as well of course. Was picking up some great form and now he's going to miss the world cup. Christ..

Losing Bendtner is a bigger blow.

Looked great and mature against Spurs and every other game he's played this season, not sure what more you could ask of him...

At the first I thought it's 6 weeks not 6 months.
Really big blow. Arsenal are in danger. They need an attacker in January.

We have a fairly easy schedule the next few weeks, and then Ox, Gnabry, Podolski, Giroud, Bendtner, Ozil, Cazorla, Ramsey and Wilshere will all be available, so I don't think we need to buy. And who could we buy anyway?

Awful, absolutely awful news. Devastated for Theo. Was surprisingly selected for the 2006 WC squad but never played, wasn't called up for 2010 and now misses 2014 through injury when it was looking like he was a guaranteed starter. We can still hope for a miracle I guess.

Anyhow, it opens doors for the likes of Gnabry and Chamberlain (who should be back very soon). Losing Theo is a massive blow but we have the players to fill the hole and win the trophies.

The fact that Wenger didn't buy in recent years is more down to the restricted funds after building the Emirats stadium, not so much to his reluctance to spend. This has changed now that they have become financially stable, with the first step being Ozil. Doesn't mean that he will spend in January though.

If the players are there Wenger will spend. But that's just it, they aren't. Recently he admitted he tried to go for Lewandowski but it became clear that he was joining Bayern over a year ago. The market for top class strikers is very lacking at the moment, and most of them are already at top clubs we can't lure away from.
