The horrible fixture list has gotten a lot worse. Liverpool in the FA cup just a few days before Bayern away. Arsenal just can't seem to catch a break.

I can't help but laugh at that tbh, that's just harsh. At least if you lose the first bunch or don't do that well, you got some in between matches to get back to form.

Yes saw this fixture list with dread before Christmas, now a added cup game vs Liverpool....and a possible replay.

Once more unto the breach.....some bloody breach.

The first time in a long, long time that I have seen Ozil really use his pace, I wish he'd utilize it more, he had some absolutely amazing runs at Madrid. Was great for the entire second half, really looked like he wanted to win it.

I think Arsenal are still 2-3 signings away from winning the league, having said that they have gotten unlucky with Walcott and now Ramsey. Keeping up with City will require a lot more than 40 million on Ozil. The oil giants have really screwed with the premier league.

That's brutal.... With Ramsey and Walcott out too. These teams will wrench Arsenal into fatigue and many are likely to win against them or at least draw. City are almost certain to take advantage of that in their form. Arsenal did well to hold top spot up until now, but these next few months are gonna take a toll.

I agree with Semi, that was probably the first time he really used his pace since joining Arsenal and played with some urgency. Probably my favourite Arsenal performance from him so far. First half was bad just as everyone else's, but tbf, Arsenal didn't even keep the ball long enough for it to reach Özil or the rest of the attacking midfielders.

Draxler deal is off. Wenger won't pay Schalke's asking price.

Best we can do now is a loan deal....Tello, Vucinic. But after Draxler it's a bit of anti-climax.
