He's mistaking Monaco's on-pitch jubilation for potential complacency. He perhaps didn't watch Berba's interview, who downplayed the margin of victory, and underscored the fact that there is still much to play, and they're aware of the same. Monaco has a significant advantage going in to the home leg, but their seniors, I'm sure, will ensure the team remain focused.

Wenger will kill him one day.

I agree with him, except I'd value the french lampost @ less than half a million.

Just around a week ago or so Giroud was their hero with his two instinct finishes and now he's the villain. How quickly things change  chokers gonna choke

Only 1 point behind 2nd place now! :party1:

With Man City's currently atrocious form, we just might end up 2nd if everything works out. No chance of winning the title though; but 2nd and the FA Cup would be a brilliant season, and an improvement on the last one.

And another reason for Wenger to not spend in summer! :xavi:

'We're improving, we ended 2nd!'

Wenger does spend now though. He's a changed man, back to his Invincibles era self. He plays counter attacking football again and knows how to properly park a bus instead of playing that pass-pass-fail shite against teams who have studied us and prepared.

Ozil, Ospina, Alexis, Chambers, Gabriel and Welbeck between two transfer windows. More than 150 million, when he used to have a zero net spend. Didn't sell a single first team player too. If anything, we'll round out the squad with Schneiderlin or some other DM

Yeah. Arsenal have been the best team in the second half of the season with 24 points in 10 matches for a reason. No more possession based approach, much more mixed. Parking the bus against bigger teams like Spurs and Liverpool, sitting deep and counter attacking in close matches away while only dominating possession at home, at least sometimes. Just like that. Obviously not good enough for Europe, but which English team is?

If so, that was last season, against Norwich

Right now I'd settle for at least being in a title race before thinking about CL success. We haven't properly challenged since 2007, to the point that other English clubs barely see us as a threat anymore. Hopefully things change soon

Nothing will change with Wenger in charge. You'll in the same place next season as you are now.
