No shame going out like that. We go out with honour. Many teams will easily give up having been in our position.
We can talk about the first leg after the first leg, not two weeks later. Today I can only congratulate the team on the performance.
Onwards and upwards.

Oh come on you can't be serious

This is exactly what Wenger wanted after the first game went to hell, put in a decent performance in next game so people would be proud of the team and manager. Even if they went out in the end. Done the same against Bayern, was it last year? The man is a genious.

Seriously if going out against Monaco in the R16 despite of the late attempt is 'going out with honour and no shame going out like that' then it just shows how far Arsenal have fallen.

this is the one time i'll agree with morten..wenger's conning the arsenal fans. this is the 4th year in a row where you have been hammered first leg and almost come back leg 2. a decent manager would learn.

Come on, a 2-0 win at Monaco is impressive. They have(/had?) the best defensive record in the champions league thus far.

Going out on aggregate against Monaco isn't. However you may spin it, this tie was an embarrassment for Arsenal.

Agreed. Should organize a parade and bring out a DVD. One to remember for Arsenal fans across the globe, congratulations to all the Gooners here. :)

After years of getting the toughest fixture possible they get the easiest fixture possible and they get knocked out.

A shambles really.

Cant wait for the draw. We will win tonight

maybe ketoth is a younger fan that barely remembers when arsenal were a winning club and now he thinks going out bravely to monaco is alright, because he's been watching the tame arsenal for so long.

Not really.

Monaco is a decent team and Arsenal is about that level. Maybe even slightly lower.

Your problem is you overrate Arsenal here as if they are Bayern, Real, Barca, Chelsea or Atleti.
