The defense is still a joke. Wenger is clearly clueless about how to sort a defense, when to squeeze up etc. although it probably doesn't help that there's no protection infront of the back four.

Either way it's embarassing & you wont be winning anything in the near future with Wenger in charge. I'd put my house on it.

Our defense will cost us the league, but any club can win a cup competition. I believe we'll win the carling cup this season, and maybe the FA cup if we get a lucky draw.

In 2011 we were contenders. We were Utd's main rival for the title for most of the season.

We really would've won the league if it wasn't for a certain Martin Taylor in 2008.

Looks like we'll finish 2nd. We always get a tough draw, always. Finished 2nd 2 seasons ago, got Barcelona. We topped the group last season and got the toughest possible opponent who finished 2nd in AC Milan, who were really good in the UCL.
Even if we top the group we'll get a tough draw, like Madrid or someone.

So knowing that we'll finish 2nd I'm dreading who we'll get. Probably Barcelona again
Can we get past the round of 16 at least... ? Show why we deserve to be in pot 1, we're one of Europe's top 8 teams.

Yep. By now I'm really tired of that fixture though. Without the Fabregas transfer drama it is just not the same. Although it would be interesting to see how the Emirates would welcome Cesc now. :cesc:
