Before the game, Sokratis claimed that Liverpool are easier to defend against than Burnley.
As evidenced by the 19 goals in 6 meetings scored by Liverpool against Arsenal since 2017, giving them 4 wins, 2 draws and 0 loss in those 6 matches. LMAO!
With such levels of cocky delusion from their players, its not wonder they are given the tag - "New team, new season, same shit".

Seriously though, if you concede 19 goals in 6 consecutive matches against any team, it is abundantly clear that you have a big trouble defending against that team. An average of more than 3 goals conceded per game is definitely not "easier to defend against than Burnley", especially since Burnley never scored more than one goal against Arsenal in any match for god only know how long. Sokratis is clearly talking out of his arse.

WELL... that did change the game. D Luiz totaly unnecesary pulled Salah's jersey. Why t f he pulled him like that? Then he also got yellow card and on the third goal he had to let Salah pass by him like a speed train cause he shit himself he'll get second yellow.

Those two killed the Arsenal players. They knew it is game over and got lucky not to be massacred with a fiver in the net.

What's that got to do with anything? The Sokratis claim was from before the game, not afterwards. He was most definitely talking from past encounters. Why would he be talking about a game yet to be played as if he had already played it? That makes no sense.

And if your defenders have to deliberately foul an opposition player in your box, leading to your team conceding a penalty, they are definitely not having "an easy time" defending against said opposition. Of course it changed the game. But not because it was a "brainfart" as you claimed. Salah was through on goal already so Luiz tried to be cheeky in order to stop a sure goal. Ref spotted it. That's not an accidental brainfart. That's just a byproduct of being outplayed by the attackers. In any case, Arsenal most certainly did not have an "easier time" defending against Liverpool in that match or any other match over the past 6 or 7 PL encounters compared to Burnley. Therefore Sokratis' claim is full of shit. End of discussion.
