Improvin' Perfection!!
Are you suggesting that Arsenal fans should revolt?
of course... The few fans who do when they are in real bad shape tend to change their mind as soon as Arsenal get a good result or achieve the 'goal' of qualifying for CL. The rest of them are delusional and believe the said goal is indeed more valueable than trophies

Think its become painfully obvious that Wenger is not able to motivate or lead a team from his position.

He inherited great 'winners' in Adams/Keown/Seaman et al and then managed to find more in Viera/Henry.

Since those players have gone Wenger's pitiful attempts to instill any sort of winners mentality have fallen well short of the mark.

He simply doesnt have the ability to impose that will on to a squad of players the way that Mourinho/Ferguson/Guardiola do. And without that sort of presence on the pitch to do it for him what he's left with is a squad full of weak minded players lead by an equally meek manager.

The result is the sort of collapses that we've over the course of the past 7 years. Teams unable to see out games, teams choking on the big occasion.

Its hardly surprising when the message from the man in charge is that 4th place is as good as a trophy and the lack of actual silverware is not a problem though is it?

That sort of cowardice will infect players like a plague.

Wenger's spent years systematically lowering the bar, and now this is as high as his players are willing to reach.

I'm proud of top 4 every season. Last season was amazing, Wenger proved all the doubters wrong. 'fight for relegation' they said. No, we finished 3rd against all odds. Wenger didn't get enough credit for that. The amount of criticism.... he said he could write a book about last season.
We'll get top 4 again this season, and once again the doubters will be proved wrong. We compete against Europe's elite. I'll take a 2-1 win over Barcelona or a 3-0 win over Milan over a mickey mouse cup victory on penalties against Cardiff City any day.

UCL qualification > league/fa cup. By far.

Mourinho? the man is a fraud, anyone could do his job, he thought it was a good idea to have Alonso acting as a CB for Christs sakes. What is this spell Fraudinho has on most people that blinds them to how crap he really is, give him a team in a lower league, or a team without an already quality squad and without loads of funds to spend, and make him stay there for longer than his usual club run, guarantee he wouldn't make top 4 or promotion spot even once, his players wouldn't want to play for him and he be sacked without question. Anyway Wenger is a top manager if he was anything similar to what you are accusing him of he would not of been able to command a 3rd place performance from such a weak team last season. There is something not right, something not clicking with the players true, but if it were Wenger he'd not have the CL qualification record that he does, a lot of Arsenals all time best players were bought to their club by Wenger, not inherited. One of the best managers in the world and if he wasn't so loyal to a team that has a board tighter than a kittens asshole, he went to Real or Inter or the countless other top clubs that have asked for him, he'd have a good one or two CL titles to his name by now

I cant believe people are trying to question Arsenes credibility, this guy is up there with the elite, I hope he does not go near Madrid, him with pretty much unlimited funding would be a scary sight
You make it sound as if he inherited a great team, if memory serves me correct he inherited a pretty mediocre team, a team that was barely contesting for the league

I would love to see Arsene leave, it would be epic seeing Arsenal fighting for Europa League for the next 4-5 years

I think he's questioning Wengers' ability as a man manager, tbh. I believe he'd be better in a Sporting Director role.

He inherited a great defence, which is his Achilles heel. Since then he's tried to build his own solid defences and failed continuously.

What about the Invincibles? Or the team that reached the CL final in 2006 without conceding a single goal?

Even though you are a WUM, I have to mostly agree with you here. Everyone criticizes Arsenal and Wenger, but they always get that top 4, no matter what. 2 years ago, when we were at our best, Arsenal beat us 2-1, and we were one Bendtner toe-poke away from elimination. Arsenal gave us more trouble than United and comparable to Madrid that season when we won our 4th CL.

As long as Wenger gets that top 4, no one in his right mind has the right to criticize him, and I think they will achieve it this season as well. They have a much smaller budget than United/City/Chelsea, so you cannot realistically ask for much more than you are already getting.

And who the fuck really cares about the idiotic league Cup (it is not even the actual domestic Cup) Arsenal are just 4 points behind the 4th spot, and in the last 16 of the CL. Those are the important things.
