Hmmm beating Bayern is definitely possible. Too many variables possible between now and February (injuries, signings, etc) to make rash conclusions that Arsenal will get blown out. Think they'll go through in the end.

Nonsense. 11 goals and 7 assists in 18 games this season. There are plenty of teams that would start him.

Super sub Theo is vastly superior to starter Theo. His pace is lethal against tired legs, and his one trick (kick the ball away + run after it) is easily countered at the beginning of a game.

I'm liking Wilshere more and more the more I watch him. He's the real thing all right, will be a monster in a few years for England. Rooney+Wilshere with Walcott and Sterling on the wings could be actually intimidating.

watching the arsenal-wigan now. arsenal are just so clueless defensivly. trying to play a very high line without any pressure on the ball. oly the bad finishing by wigan is the reason why they are 1-0 up atm. bayern will smash them in CL, without any doubt.

They have some good individual defenders aswell, it's the system, the shape is awful and has been for years. On 'the genius' Wenger.

arsenal won 1-0 thanks to this penalty. wigan had several penalty appeals turned down near the end of the game when arsenal just defended desperately. also the ref didn't allow di santo to come on the pitch after the injury for like 3-4 minutes until the ball went out of play.
