Liverpool are being greedy. I'm not sure what they have to gain by keeping an unhappy player?

Can't just say Suarez is worth £55m. He's worth as much as an accepted bid for him. What if no one offers £55m, or whatever they value him at? They risk keeping an unhappy player and that would do more harm than good than if they sold him for £40m to Arsenal. Then Liverpool's valuation of him would've dropped and they'd have lost a lot of face and money. A player is only worth what a club bids for him and Liverpool should do the smart thing and sell for £40m.

I empathize with Liverpool. We went through the same thing so many times that it feels weird for us to be pulling the same shit on them, and makes me feel a bit dirty. I wish we had gotten Higuain and avoided this whole mess

Higuain isn't worth the 37m Napoli paid for him. Worth the risk to pay a bit more and go for Suarez.

Transfer request & bid of £45m should be our final move. If I was Real I'd put in a cheeky £25m bid.

I have no sympathy with Liverpool, they disgraced themselves in the manner they defended Suarez, tshirts etc. This is modern football, everyone does the dirty at one point.

It's worrying there's nothing on the horizon but Suarez and that's 50/50....what's going on with other positions. We've done well to remove the deadwood but we need to add in other positions.

Higuain is worth whatever the market says he's worth. Before Berbatov & Robinho inflated the market, the thought of a 30million player was almost laughable (beyond the odd outlier like Zidane). Then the Ronaldo transfer happened, and this summer -- the Cavani and Falcao transfers.

Also, ending the summer with nobody while Spurs had the summer of a lifetime? I'd be happy with getting Higuain for 60mil if the alternative was nobody, and believe me... it is. Suarez is going to Madrid. It's practically scripted at this point.

With the summer you've had and the summer Spurs had, I can see them finishing fourth. Arsenal need a few qualities players, not just one.
