Good tournament from Arthur.

Really hoping Rakitic gets sold so Valverde is forced to play FDJ and Arthur together instead of rotating them which I assume he’s going to do.

The fuck is this?

That was a Pen on Arthur vs Argentina but doesn't mean he's at fault for the so-called "Corruption" if you want to blame anyone blames the Brazilian FA for it.

Did he admit to it after the game? Did he acknowledge Messi’s words?
No, he didn’t. He has no problem being a part of this blatant shit.

You're letting Messi's words blind things.

Why should Arthur Admit it? That's the job of the fucking refs to actually call that shit and they didn't. Brazil was the better team this tournament while Argentina was riding its luck and Messi largely underperformed. Look I want Messi to win the trophy as well but he didn't and screaming about conspiracies is not going to change anything.

The Brazilian team did nothing wrong, it's just flat out incompetence by the fucking refs and VAR team.

Why shouldn’t he acknowledge it? Dani Alves at least had the decency to comment, and he is not even Messi’s teammate anymore.
It has nothing to do with being lucky or underachieving. It has everything to do with fairness and just.

Brazil today received a penalty which by logic should have given Argentina a penalty too. Arthur is part of this blatant favouritism even if he isn’t the one responsible. Surely he can and should express some empathy and speak up. Especially given it’s his teammate that suffers from it.

Yet he stays meek. What an embarrassment.

I read that Arthur was the player who covered the most ground for Brazil (with the final still to be played), despite having missed the first game through injury. He's been all action and full of running. Cuntverde can now throw that 'he's not ready to play 90 min' out the window.

Congrats Arthur

I wish he played a more advance role for Barca like he did today for Brazil. He'd def improve his forward passing if played in that role.

Probably helped by the fact he doesn’t get taken off after 60 minutes like he does with Valverde. Funny that he almost always completes 90 with Brazil.

Not the least surprised that he did well. Sorely missed during that horrible night in Liverpool 2 months ago.

I wrote about it months ago and very early into last season but it would be a complete and utter travesty if Arthur would not become the automatic starter whenever ready. Alongside FDJ. Even the likes of Malmierda must have realized, long ago, that a midfield composed of both Busquets and Rakitic (1 dinosaur and has-been is enough) is asking for trouble. Not even going to discuss the midfield trio of Busquets, Vidal and Rakitic. What a horror that has been for the most part.
